Gabriel Zammit

Gabriel Zammit (b. 1994) came into curation and project management from a background in philosophy and art theory, which he studied in Malta and London. He started out working in archives and libraries where he met artists of all kinds. Alongside a writing and research practice which was already well underway Gabriel’s work environment organically led to creative collaborations which developed into fully fledged curatorial projects.

Gabriel’s way of looking at the world is embedded in a poststructural way of thinking, where his fundamental assumption is that any vision of the world is ultimately subjective. Meaning can therefore ebb and flow across time and space in non-rational ways and the possibility of restitution through art is ever present.
