Kira Ni

Kira Ni is a studio potter based by the Baltic Sea in Estonia. All of her products are designed and handmade in her home studio. Kira Ni Ceramics was established in London in 2015, and her primary technique involves traditional hand-building with coils, using stoneware or porcelain. The hand-building process is slow and repetitive, resulting in small-batch productions intended to be cherished.
Blue and pink colours are achieved by adding stains to porcelain, and the pieces are glazed on the inside with a transparent, food-safe glaze. This collection straddles the fine line between art and functionality. Each item, whether a functional bowl, vase, beaker, or ring holder, can be used daily, but also serves as a visual anchor
